তুহিন সারোয়ার:  ধর্ষণের বিচার ও জন পরিসরে নারীর নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিতের দাবিতে গাজীপুর সদর উপজেলার ভবানীপুর বাজার বাসস্ট্যান্ডে মানববন্ধন ও বিক্ষোভ সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। জাতীয় নাগরিক পার্টি (NCP) ও স্থানীয় একাধিক শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীরা এ কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করে। সোমবার (১০ মার্চ) সকাল ১০টায় গাজীপুর সদর উপজেলা জাতীয় নাগরিক পার্টির নেতা শেখ জিহাদুল ইসলামের সভাপতিত্বে এ মানববন্ধন ও বিক্ষোভ সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এ সময় উক্ত কর্মসূচিতে সংহতি জানিয়ে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট কবি, কথাসাহিত্যিক ও সাংবাদিক শাহান সাহাবুদ্দিন, বিশিষ্ট পরিবেশবিদ ও কলামিস্ট সাঈদ চৌধুরী, মাস্টারমাইন্ড ক্যাডেট স্কুল এন্ড কলেজের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা পরিচালক জাহিদ হাসান মুন্সী, ভবানীপুর মডেল একাডেমির পরিচালক মেহেদী হাসান, ফাহিম ফয়সাল,জাতীয় নাগরিক পার্টির গাজীপুর সদর উপজেলা নেতা মেহেদী হাসান মিঠুন, আজহারুল ইসলাম আশিক ও রনি আহমেদ প্রমুখ। এ সময় বক্তারা দেশের আইন-শৃঙ্খলা পরিস্থিতি নিয়ে উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করে বলেন, সম্প্রতি ধর্ষণের ঘটনা আগের তুলনায় বেড়ে গেছে। মাগুরায় আট বছরের শিশুকে নির্যাতন করে ধর্ষণ করা হয়েছে। গত দু মাসে ধর্ষি...
